2025 – 2026 Rules
Loser Pool $40 per Entry
Loser Points $25 per Entry
All fees must be received no later than Thursday 9/4/2025. This year’s season will not begin until the first Sunday games on 9/7/2025. This will allow for extra time for enrollment. Thereby, the first Thursday and Friday games are not part of the season and cannot be selected as your loser for the week, in either the Loser Pool or Loser Points game.
If fees are not received by the first weekend’s games, then you will be dropped from the pool. Please send your enrollment information via email and payment can be sent by PayPal Bonventre@msn.com, Venmo @Gloria-Michalko. Please DO NOT include the name Loser Pool in any of the notes. PayPal and Venmo do not like you to use their service for football pools. When sending via PayPal or Venmo, you need to send your payment as cash to a friend, not a Vendor. Sending as a Vendor will cause a fee for both you and us.

Loser Pool – Entry Fee is $40 per team
1) This pool is set up to be fun for everyone…never forget rule #1! You can have as many entries as you want in both the Loser Pool and Loser Points games.
2) There are 2 brackets in the Loser Pool game, the Main Bracket and the 2nd Chance Bracket. All teams start the season in the Main Bracket.
3) All you have to do is pick one team each week that you think will lose. If that team “wins” you’re out of the Main bracket and drop to the 2nd Chance bracket. If the team you pick “loses” you continue in your bracket and advance to the next week.
4) There is no rule that limits the number of times you select a team. You continue to play through the Super Bowl as long as more than one team remains in the bracket.
5) How to win the Loser Pool:
- Be the last team remaining in the bracket.
- If multiple teams are still alive after the Super Bowl, those teams split the pot.
6) The 2nd Chance bracket is a second chance for money. A participant cannot be a part of both the Main and 2nd Chance brackets. If the team you pick in the 2nd Chance bracket “wins”, you are out for the season.
Example: One team remains in the Main Bracket after week 15. They will win the Main pot. They do not get to drop down to the 2nd Chance Bracket…they have already won…. they are not considered a Loser.
7) In the event that a game ends in a tie, participants that have chosen either team involved in the tie game will be considered a “win” and will not advance to the next week. This is not negotiable.
8) Picks must be received by 7pm ET each Thursday. Any pick changes will be accepted if they are received prior to the stated game time of the game(s) you have chosen. The time stamp on your email will determine if a pick change is received prior to the game.
9) Default Pick:
If a pick is not received your selection will be listed as a no pick and your team will be considered as a win. This may result in your team being eliminated or dropping to the 2nd chance bracket in the Loser Pool game. In the Loser Points, it will impact your points for the week.
You can avoid this by submitting your picks on time each week.
Loser Points – Entry fee is $25 per team
The Loser Points game is in addition to the Loser Pool game. You may choose the Loser Pool game, the Loser Points game or both. Each game is completely separate.
1) You play the entire regular season.
2) There are NO default picks.
3) Each week you choose 5 teams as Losers. You receive points for each correct Loser. You may also receive bonus points.
The point scale is as follows:

At the end of week 18, the point totals will determine the winners!
